Katron D. Johnson
Project Manager
Katron serves as Project Manager and System Engineer for a variety of projects at NASA Langley, Hampton, VA. He provides critical design and maintenance support to the Real-Time networks and signal distribution systems. These systems drive an array of flight simulators within NASAs Flight Simulation Software Branch.
Prior to joining DST in 2003, Katron served in the U.S. Navy and applied his engineering craft at several industrial and consumer electronics corporations. Each company benefited from his adept application of system engineering, networking, and software and hardware test expertise. An avid proponent of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), he has maintained his professional membership since 1999. As an active member of the IEEEs Computer Society, he focuses his efforts on staying abreast of innovations in the Design and Test of Computers and Circuits and Systems.
Katron graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Hampton University with almost 40 credits beyond the required curriculum. These additional credits were in the subject areas of engineering, physics, military science, computer science, music, and business.
